Dear dad It was raining today It reminded me of you The droplets That fell And wet my hair And the birds Tweeting and shaking Off the clear liquid It reminded me Of how much you loved The rain and the sea And everything thereof So peaceful It was to walk Under the grey sky And the falling water And watch it create puddles And soak the ground So full of life Today was With the life-giving rain I wish you were here So I could share All of these emotions Times And places With you So we could cherish them Together Instead of apart I do hope That the rain Will form a new sea That will lead you Back to me ~Love your daughter | ||||||||||||||
